Ingredients
- 3 cups brown sugar, packed
- 1 1/2 cups Crisco
- 6 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups pinto beans, mashed
- 2 1/4 cups applesauce
- 3 teaspoons baking soda
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 6 3/4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cloves
- 1 1/2 cups nuts, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups raisins
Directions
- cream crisco, sugar and eggs, add mashed pinto beans and applesauce.beat till fluffy --
- add dry ingredients.beat till smooth.
- stir in raisins, and nuts.
- drop by tspful on parchment paper covered cookie sheet.
- bake at 375* for 15-20 minutes.or golden brown.
