Erik's Poor Ear

Erik was in the Hospital off and on from Sunday July 27 until today, when they released him August 3.

what started out as an innocent ear infection and a trip to the ER, and then on Wednesday a second Trip to the ER with a ruptured Ear Drum, and then Thursday with a third trip to the ER with intolerable pain, and finally a Trip to the ER on Friday with the entire canal swollen shut, a trip across the state line from Washington to Idaho, where we were admitted to the regional hospital straight from the Pediatricians office and stayed for 48 hours.

His dad flew up today and was with us the last few hours until discharge, he is still in delicate health, and we are continuing to watch him very closely as his ear canal is still 90% closed with lots of sticky drainage. we hope that he continues to improve this coming week.
